The teachers were great according to our differences. We are on different levels, and if you found it easy, they gave you the same challenge but in a more difficult way. The lessons at DAS Akademie were fun, inspiring and challenging. My favourite word in German is “Wörter” (words).

I decided to take classes at DAS Akademie when I saw the proximity and the prices. I think that the lessons were very good and Fiona was great! I only have a little suggestion, I think it would be a good idea to have a kitchen for the students, so that I can eat in there.:)

Where to start! This is the most amazing school ever! the school makes you feel like you’re at home, the atmosphere is really cool, in the class you’re just few students so it’s perfect, the method is just amazing and fun to do, we speak a lot, play roles that we write ourselves, you learn very quickly and you can speak really fast! The teachers don’t push you hard, they take time with you, if you don’t understand something, they are really open and patient.

I think the DAS Team and the service here is great. They really want us to learn and have fun at the same time. I was at the academy two years ago as well, but it was my sister who first told me about it. I decided for DAS because I wanted to learn some German. I had three different teachers and I can only say good things about them. They are really great and I really think I improved my German. My favourite new word in German is “genau”. The team and service were very good! I did find out about DAS Akademie by a friend who is an employee here at DAS Akademie. I decided to take classes at DAS Akademie because the course was exactly what I needed and once a week is perfect. All teachers were great: nice topic diversity. I prefer the teachers that gave us texts to read as homework as those who made us read each text completely during class. My favourite words are Goldschmied (goldsmith) and Müllman (garbage man). I originally booked 4 months in one go and there was little flexibility to say in advance that I can not come one week and put that class at the end. Even though originally as I sign the contract, the class was planned on Tuesdays… not the end of the world. But when booking for such a long period, a bit more flexibility would have been nice.

Ich habe mich für DAS Akademie entschieden wegens des Ortes, wegen des Preises, wegen Ihrer Webseite, weil es Unterrichten nur 1 Abend / Woche gibt (nicht zo intensiv). Ich hatte sehr andere Erfahrungen mit den zwei Lehrern. Die zweite Lehrerin war organizieter und vorbereiter als der Erste. Ich habe die Unterrichten mit der zweiten mehr genossen und hilfreich gefunden. Unterrichten mit so kleinen Gruppen ist perfekt. I found out about DAS Akademie via my Google research. I decided to choose this academy because of the flexibility of the courses and because of the care given to the students’ individual needs. I find the DAS Akademie website clear and easy, however I would specify better the fact that the hours of lessons depend on the number of students in each class. I am very satisfied with the lessons and especially with my teacher Svetlana. My favourite German word that I have learned at DAS is “Kino” – so sweet! On my first day at DAS Akademie I felt very welcome. Very nice people! I did find out about DAS Akademie via the Internet, when I was looking for a school in Berlin. After this, I visited the school. I think it is very handy that I could make a test the same day as I visited the school. I also found Jelena very kind. I think that the classes were SOOO GOOD! Now I know all things I would like to know. I have to practise more now! I also think my teacher, Fiona, was great!

Everyone is very friendly and helpful at DAS. The whole academy seems like one big family, which is something completely new to me, and it leaves a great impression. The lessons are quick-paced and yet very informative. Dorina (the teacher) gave us all the time and space to talk and think instead of just telling us – and that’s wonderful. Also, it was fun! The team at DAS Akademie is enthusiastic and very helpful. I found out about the school on the internet and I decided to take classes because of the small classes, interesting teaching style which is focused on speaking and the affordable price. The lessons were practical but need more consistency with the teachers as we had 3 in 4 weeks. If reducing the class time, time in class is really important therefore it’s important that the classes are intense. Hella was exceptional at this and it would be good to help pass this style and skills onto other teachers. My favourite wword in the German language is “zusammen” “together”

Last year I had another course in Berlin and I wasn’t really happy about it. Die beste Deutschschule, die ich in Berlin gewesen bin. Alle Menschen, die an der Schule arbeiten, sind sehr besorgt über ihre Schüler, so freundlich und in der Nähe von mir, auch immer sehr interessiert unsere Sprache zu perfektionieren. Mein Lehrer ist sehr didaktisch und klar zu erklären, kann ich viel in der Klasse sprechen, das finde ich Perfekt! wirklich Methodologie ist sehr gut. Ich denke, DAS Team ist sehr sympathisch, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich dazu entschieden zur DAS Akademie zu gehen, weil es mir als sehr gut empfohlen wurde. Die Website ist sehr informativ und nutzerfreundlich. Der Unterricht ist sehr unterhaltsam und sehr interessant. Mein Lieblingswort ist: Liebling. Ich finde, es hat einen schönen Klang. Ich hatte eine wunderschöne Zeit. Deutsch zu lernen hat mir sehr viel Freude bereitet.

Great school! The staff takes care to pick interesting teachers and they keep the classes fun. The school is well located at Rosenthaler Platz in a great part of Berlin with many restaurants and coffee shops nearby to pick up a quick (inexpensive lunch) or coffee before or after class. You will be asked to do a placement test before you start and are placed in a class that is suited to your ability. The price is also quite reasonable. 🙂

I decided to take classes at DAS Akademie, because it was not expensive. The lessons are perfect. My teacher Fiona is a terrific teacher. She teaches easily to understand. My favourite word in the English language is “to get”.

I think the DAS Akademie offers a good service. Although its a little expensive, it’s a good school with a good method of teaching. I chose DAS Akademie because of the high quality of teachers. I liked the school and the team – everything we required was available to us. In my opinion it is a very good and friendly school. I chose DAS Akademie because it had some places available and it is easy to get to on the U Bahn. I think that the lessons at DAS Akademie are dynamic and clear.
