DAS Language Events & Activities to make you speak!
We believe that learning a language can only be accomplished by living and enjoying that language. Thus, we complement our German courses in Berlin with a good variety of language events and activities. All of our students are always welcome. After all, our goal is to make them speak! Throughout our DAS Frühstück, DAS Treff, sport and culture activities, DAS students make some new friends and practice their skills in an informal environment. Have a glance at the language events DAS family has been organising so far and be a part of it!
Examples of Past Language Events
As the name itself suggests, DAS Treff is a family-like meetup for all the students of our language school in Berlin. During the meetup, they introduce their cultures, exchange what they have learnt about Berlin or simply share their expat experiences. During these language events, our students will play a fun quiz to practice spoken German, widen their vocabulary and deep dive into the German culture. DAS Treff comes with a specific theme on certain occasions of the year. We light up our language school in Berlin with foods, drinks, songs and laughs.
Explore different cultures and learn new words. Learn German while breathing in German history. Play beach-volley or Minigolf to collaborate in a new language. In addition to these language events, our students enjoy different culture and sport activities as well as trips to historical places in Berlin. You can combine your interests with your learning experience. The choice of activity will depend on the season and the specific language program.
DAS Frühstück has become an essential part of our language activities. In our language school in Berlin, all our students are welcome to participate in our traditional breakfast every second Friday of a month. DAS Frühstück refills our students with energy and motivation to nail the German language. They will make some friends, polish their German and have fun while enjoying the typical German brekkie. This is simply the best exercise a language school could offer. Yummy!
