Speaking Course English

English Conversation course in Berlin

Our English Conversation course is designed to boost your speaking skills. Unlike in other lessons, analysing grammar structures and learning about how to write an essay are not a focus of a conversation course. Instead, we make sure that you are kept up-to-date with the most commonly used idioms and everyday language. In the classes, students have the chance to discuss and debate relevant topics, and share their opinions and ideas about particular subjects. It is also massively advantageous that the class sizes are small, which means that specific topics can be discussed during the classes, even if they aren’t part of the original plan. Our English conversation classes don’t just teach you the correct order in which to put individual words, they also ensure you leave your course with the correct body language and intonation that goes with it. In an English Conversation Course at DAS Akademie, no stone will be left unturned!

FAQs for English conversation course in Berlin

What is a conversation class?

Speaking is often the root of all problems when it comes to fluency in any language. If you want to have a conversation in fluent English, you will need to keep up with what your interlocutor is saying. In an English Conversation Course at DAS Akademie, you will be able to focus on speaking and listening and become fluent in no time.

A conversation course takes place twice per week, and two lessons are taught per day. You will therefore benefit from 4 lessons per week, each one improving your English skills. At the end of the course, we can guarantee that you’ll have what you need to go out and conquer the English language: we will make you speak! Speaking does not only involve putting a few individual words together in a sentence, but also requires confidence when it comes to using the latest and most common idiomatic phrases, as they are becoming a more and more essential part of our languages.

How can I register for the English conversation courses in Berlin?

Firstly, you need to fill out our online registration form by clicking on register. Secondly, our team will organise the free placement test for you. Finally, we will recommend the right course for you and give you all the necessary details.

How are the other courses different to the conversation course?

Actually, all language courses at DAS Akademie are excellent conversation courses, because their emphasis is always on speaking. Haven’t we all learned our mother tongue through listening, speaking and repeating? The reason we know so much in our mother tongues is because we have been exposed to it for so long, and learned the grammar passively. The aim of our English conversation courses is of course conversation – the best method for learning a language.
